Title: RAVPOWER PD Pioneer 65W 4-Port GaN Tech USB C Desktop Charger hands-on review
Post by: Redaktion on September 19, 2020, 21:14:00
RAVPOWER's PD Pioneer series consists of chargers based on gallium nitride (GaN) technology rather than traditional silicon. One variant offers the ability to charge four devices at once with a maximum combined output of 65 watts (W). Therefore, it is clearly meant to appeal to enthusiasts with many favoured devices all clamouring for juice. Can it match up to its convenient unique selling point?

The only way to properly test each setting is with a usbpd board and dc load. Try using the cypress cy4533 and attach an electronic load to it. Then redo your measurements. Thanks how OEMs test the power supply.

Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus has a max charge rate of 15 watts to the best of my understanding.  Where did you get the 25 watt figure?  Have you personally verified a max 25 watt rate?

Would love to see something like this with equal distribution of USB c pd to the 2 ports when used at the same time. I don't need something to charge super fast but it would be nice to run 2 pd at the same time.
