Title: Subaru says US$25/hour McDonalds wage inflation stops it from manufacturing electric cars in the US
Post by: Redaktion on November 04, 2022, 17:09:26
The ever-increasing price of labor in the US is the main obstacle before building an electric vehicle manufacturing plant in Indiana, said Subaru. Currently, the only EV that the company sells in the US is the 2023 Solterra crossover.

They aren't kidding when they say their suppliers can't get and keep people, Subaru has canceled several production days the last few weeks because of supplier issues and them not being able to supply Subaru for normal 8 hour days and 5 days a week.

They need to automation in low end jobs like MC Donalds especially when people are demanding for more money compared to other jobs that are more important, labor or intellectually inclined...

You simply copied and pasted info from other news outlets without researching the claims. 🙄

Average McDonalds wage in Indiana is around $11/hour. Basically, they lied because they don't want to try to compete in the EV space. Go figure.

Subaru has donated to fox news in the past. Which explains their position. They want cheap labour in the US and they'll support any government that promotes that.

Why would they need to do that when all these Corporations have the Republican governments allow low wage foreign workers to come to North America and do our jobs for less?

There is so much downward pressure on many wages, it is a slow attrition in the hopes the majority don't notice or don't care. As long as it happens to the other guy, right?

I don't know the cure for our economic troubles that have been decades in the making. Support your Unions, support living wages. Now record profits hidden into inflation... Don't let the fear mongering and their manipulation of politicians fool you.

Well since I left Chicago and moved out here to Arizona McDonald's is making out maybe close to $15 if that
But the stupid thing is they want high freaking prices that we have to pay but they don't want to rise the minimum wage
So if they say money goes around in a circle so how come they have to raise from gas prices to your rent and to anything else but if you work in any of these type of fields you're still coming out of pocket for all the hell bent pricing that went up but yet again not one single stupid corporation wants to help out of giving their company worker a corrective pay so if the worker is getting a decent pay and I mean all the workers across the board equal pay they got enough to pay the rent and buy their necessities and food including emergency issues that come up well they have that amount they spent is still going back into everybody else's pocket but it's helping sustain everybody so basically cheaper work means more money in your pocket but lesser quality in the vehicle
Mind you this is just my opinion and anybody sees this or understands this can picture what I'm talking about if they consider me wrong I'm wrong but I'm telling you that straight up honest truth of how messed up people don't see this

So Subaru CEO wants American workers to get wages like Chinese or allow migrant workers to come work in America for barely minimum wage! 👍🏾

That 350 million profit only goes to the top 1% of the executive positions & they can't afford to see their salary dip.

Merica! Where CEO's decide how little to pay workers while demanding more tax breaks!

I checked the hourly wage and did not find it was even close to 20 and hour let alone 25 that he claims. They were going to cancel this plant for one reason or another. They chose to lie and tried to spread misinformation.
