The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S23 series has been heavily criticized by a well-known leaker over numerous perceived shortcomings. Included on a list of eight points are comments about the expected RAM amounts, charging speeds, and overall design of the Galaxy S23 phones. The same source claims that there will be a boost in the S23's video-recording department.

Good luck saving those 8k videos on an intentionally crippled device without the ability to expand its storage (Samsung removed the microsd expansion slot since 2020).. so it's kind of like shooting itself in the foot. In the "best" Samsung tradition to ignore it's customers needs.

Methinks it is wise to read from a variety of sources to formulate an opinion. Having skipped the S20 and gone from the S10 to the S21 Ultra, I was, and still am, impressed with the choice, as per my contract I will have skipped the S22 which would not have provided me with enough reason to change and I will be investing in the S23 Ultra. The reports that the overclocked Snapdragon chip could be utilising Samsung factories for production does not seem so far fetched. The TENAA certification has been received so the specs are locked in
