Title: Disney Plus will offer a new cut-price subscription type with ads in it
Post by: Redaktion on March 04, 2022, 18:57:02
Disney is now said to have a new, more affordable price-tier for its Plus streaming app in the works - however, there is a catch: there will be ads. The allegedly upcoming subscription option may roll out in the United States to start off with, and might cost about as much as those of its increasingly numerous counterparts from other content firms.

I just hope it offers a way for users to ask it not to play certain ads again.

Some ads are quite tolerable, like most movie trailers. Others are some combination of irrelevant and nerve-grinding, such as Bathroom Bears, BP Dish Soap Duck, and Jake's Trumpet.

A way to somewhat filter ads is incredibly valuable to me if I am to go with a service that has them.
