The iPhone SE gets more expensive in 2022 but still continues to be the most affordable Apple smartphone. Thanks to its very current A15 chip, it should be hard to beat in its price class in terms of performance. But does the iPhone SE still justify the interest, considering the powerful in-house alternatives?

Best thing about this phone is that it's an affordable(ish) way to have an iOS.
PWM flicker-free screen should be added to Pros in summary.
It is not using the 5 core gpu A15: Apple clearly states the 4 core version on the official website. Please, correct it.
This 3rd iteration of the SE is the one that makes no sense to me, the design is so dated at this point that it makes it a bad purchase - its only redeeming quality being the processor, which total saves the day (albeit why you'd need a top chip like this on a tiny screen is a mystery).
It seems reviewers forget how bad this is only because it's Apple, any Android phone manufacturer trying to pull this off would get laughed out of the room.
