LG looks set to continue its current strategy of eschewing high-end mobile chips on its devices. Instead of using the upcoming Snapdragon 875 in any devices in the first half of 2021, it is likely to opt for the Snapdragon 775G instead in order to turn the fortunes of the mobile division around.

Hopefully they will still have a phone with a quad dac. As for what chip, I couldn't care less. Anything beyond the SD835 is overkill for most purposes but gaming or video rendering on phones.
