Xiaomi's current highest rate of commercial-grade wireless charging is found in the Mi 10 series. It can power a phone at 30 watts (W). However, the OEM has also just demonstrated its next generation, a 40W system, that can charge a phone in as little as 40 minutes.

Despite having your phone stuck to a palm sized area, despite the efficiency loss generating heat that cooks your battery, despite the cost of deploying multiple charging pads and replacing them(and often the charger it's connected to, separately) with new standards, people are gonna buy this. I met a guy who vehemently defended his charging pads against magnetic cables despite coming up with little to argue for.
