Title: Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Carbon 13ITL5 laptop review: Tiger Lake combined with ultralight materials

Take a ThinkPad X1 Nano, remove some features, and paint it white. Lenovo didn't do that, obviously, but the result would probably look very similar to the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Carbon. Lenovo's cheaper ultralight laptop can convince in our test - but with some weaknesses.

An 88% rating on a 300 nits display and 50wh battery, along with a lack of ports. Not to mention the plastic piece in place of a fan. This is an 86% at best, it's not even noteworthy. How much did you guys get paid?

Lenovo is my favorite brand. But when I see the the half size arrow keys, it can get 110% mark, I'm still not going to buy it.

This looks like an uncomfortable keyboard, and the lack of AMD Ryzen 5000 8 core CPU option really disappoints.

Yepp, reality is far away from 88%.

P.S.: Racist ComputerBase mods continue to remove all contents critical towards the CCP Chinese Communist Party that are currently committing cultural genocide of a muslim minority.

Interesting to see this model finally came to Europe. I bought it 3 months ago in Thailand at a time where it was only available in Asia. Despite my paying the equivalent of only 860 euros (USD1,025) for the i5-1135G7/16/512 version, it also came standard with a USB-C to USB-A/HDMI/VGA dongle and three-year on-site warranty. I think think this was a steal.

While I agree the XPS 9310's screen is brighter and the speakers are somewhat better, I think it should also be highlighted that the XPS is at least twice as expensive for the same configuration, depending on the market (and almost 3 times as much in Southeast Asia)

But eventually, what eliminated the XPS for me was its poor keyboard with almost no travel and way too mushy for me to consider using it as my everyday device. In this regard, the Slim 7i Carbon is simply a much better option. Weird this review does not even mention that.

Over in Asia, the laptop is configured with a low-power display and meets Intel Evo requirements. was told battery life is up to 15% better.

One thing that was not highlighted is the time-of-flight sensor and ambient light sensor. The laptop literally went to sleep when i walked away and woke up the moment i returned, HANDS-FREE!
