Title: Xiaomi extends Android 10 release for the Mi 9T and Redmi K20 after pulling initial build
Post by: Redaktion on February 11, 2020, 14:05:38
The upgrade to Android 10 did not go as planned for some Mi 9T and Redmi K20 handsets, with multiple people reporting high battery drain affecting their devices. While there was a workaround, Xiaomi pulled the build to address other bugs too. Now, the company has restarted the rollout of Android 10 builds of MIUI 11, although you may not notice the difference.

The Mi9T Pro Global got a buggy Q update a few months back (-.1.0). I stayed on Pie after reading people were having issues with it. A beta stable (-.2.0) has been circulated with the same bugs and now seemingly withdrawn.

Though I guess with all that's going on in China right now, it makes sense.
