Well, this is one hot running CPU in this laptop - 98 degC during the Witcher 3 stress test! That's a normal gaming load, so to see temperatures almost reaching temperature throttling point in the high 90's is to me unacceptable. Unfortunately, it's a symptom of the thin & light brigade design trend of laptops nowadays - the cooling solutions are not able to be implemented effectively to cool the components. I think high end laptops (in terms of containing high performance components) need to be thicker in design to allow for better cooling, lower noise levels, better performance & increased longevity - afterall, a somewhat thicker & somewhat heavier laptop doesn't really take up that much extra space because it's the same footprint, so really the inadequate engineering can be blamed on a fairly meaningless aesthetic trend towards thin & light laptops, it's all backwards thinking!
