OnePlus promises dust and water resistance without any IP certifications for its latest flagship. This obviously raises some red flags, but a detailed teardown of the smartphone reveals that it's properly sealed not unlike competing smartphones with official IP67 certification. OnePlus may have waived the certification process to cut costs and keep prices as low as possible. The OnePlus 6 is now available for $530 USD or hundreds less than competing Android or Apple alternatives.
