The laptop year 2023 started brilliantly: New processors from Intel and AMD as well as new high-performance graphics chips from Nvidia were presented and provided decent performance increases in our test devices. Apple also followed up with the new M2 Pro and M2 Max CPUs in the high-end range and launched new MacBooks. With so many high ratings despite so many core flaws from lack of repairabilty to soldering to poor keyboards and touchpads, I think it is time for an adjustment.
Also maybe let people do their own weighting criteria. The search also needs more options of things like keyboard key travel, touchpad types, soldered ram/disk and etc
