Sony hat eine große Welle an Software-Updates für seine Android TV Smart TVs angekündigt. Insgesamt werden 30 ältere Modelle, die teils noch im Jahr 2016 auf den Markt kamen, auf Android 9 Pie aktualisiert, während die Apple TV App auf Modellen aus den Jahren 2018 und neuer nachgereicht wird.
