Title: HTC insists it is not quite dead yet with plans for new 5G phones and extended reality equipment to launch in 2021
Post by: Redaktion on April 09, 2021, 00:00:44
Not much has been heard of HTC since it launched its Desire 21 Pro in January 2021. However, the OEM reportedly intends to stay in the smartphone industry for at least the rest of this year, with new 5G devices ready to go from the second quarter (2Q2021). HTC may also consolidate its presence in the enterprise-grade virtual or augmented reality (VR or AR) sector with new hardware and services.

Why are you comparing devices from HTC to One Plus? HTC is a quality brand. I have a HTC u ultra and a one plus 5t. HTC's quality is superb and is comparable to iphone's quality. One Plus is has just the specs. In build quality, HTC beat it to a punch and it feels like a true flagship not one plus. One plus feels like a low quality product.

After what happened with HK, Taiwanese people are wary of buying Chinese brands.

Customer service was their downfall. I got a lemon some years back and they actually told me to go f#$k myself.

HTC have been iGnorant for a decade, which will eventually lead to their demise. A one-hand, repair-friendly phone with replaceable battery, combined with the spotless Sense UI, at a competitive price, that would kill off all damn competition like Motorola with their cheap awesomeness (eventually they went iGnorant as well).

Still can't help myself missing Sensation XE, One M7, One M8 and other fantastic phones I've had. Much nicer Android experience than anything today.
