Price history on Amazon shows that there has been a sizable price hike for NVIDIA GeForce graphics cards, like the ever-popular GTX 1070. This spike in pricing has been attributed to increased demand at the hands of cryptocurrency miners, who use the cards to drive powerful "mining" rigs.
