Title: The Segway Navimow could actually be the first decent home robot mower
Post by: Redaktion on September 04, 2021, 02:31:59
Segway has ventured into new realms with the Navimow, its first robot mower. The Navimow is available in four sizes, each with a multitude of sensors and GPS tracking, doing away with the annoying perimeter cable that most robot mowers use. More expensive models also support 4G connectivity and a GPS-based anti-theft system.

Talk about peak laziness + where do the grass clippings go ? Do you have to buy a rake bot too then ?

Robot mowers are supposed to be left operating continuously so the grass clippings will be small enough that they do not cause any issues if they are not collected and fall on the ground betwen the grass.

I have a classic model and the perimeter wire is a pain to set up, but they are quite efficient in taking care of the lawn because regular cutting is much better ar forcing the grass to spread wide instead of growing tall.
