The Pixel 4a (5G) and Pixel 5 will only come with 128 GB of storage, according to several early retailer listings. Google will unveil the devices in two colours on September 30 too, giving fans more choice than it does with the Pixel 4a. The Pixel 5 may also cost as little as £599 in the UK.

Why does Google insist on only including 128 GB of flash memory with no SD card even on their flagship phones? Most flagships today at least have a 256 GB option, if not 512 GB. Not everyone wants to store their important data in the cloud, and Android apps, particularly games, are quite large (Fortnight is 7.5 GB).
