This time I just hope they got the ergonomics right. Went to Samsung store to check out the Galaxy Tab, Galaxy Book Flex, Flex Alpha and Chromebook. Problem was all the 2-in-1 convertible PCs had terrible ergonomics in tablet mode. Really sharp edges along both sides, hinges that wobble too much and screens that can't hold almost flat angles over 160 degrees because they would flop down. Also they share the same problem with LG Gram 14 2-in-1 where the keyboard and touchpad takes few seconds to almost a minute before getting disabled and enabled again when switching between their laptop and tablet modes.

Also the keyboards on all their flagship laptops were incredibly shallow and just terrible for long typing sessions, absolutely defeats the purpose of getting a heavy convertible vs a lighter detachable 2-in-1 in the first place.

Eventually I ended up going with the Tab S6 from Samsung and a separate 2-in-1 convertible as my daily driver, that had non of the issues of Samsung.

And on the topic of 2-in-1 Chromebooks, OEMs ought to make the with mid-range ARM chips like SD 765G, 6GB LPDDR4X and 5G/LTE support for the same price of current i3 and 4GB under $500, and watch them fly off the shelves.
