Title: EA locks cross-gen upgrade for NHL 22 behind a $100 “X-Factor Edition” preorder
Post by: Redaktion on August 20, 2021, 15:11:25
At a time when companies like Remedy have received flak for how they handle cross-gen game upgrades, EA has decided on a $40 asking price for NHL 22 cross-gen compatibility. Gamers will need to shell out $100 for what's described as "cross-gen entitlement," nearly double the cost of the base game.

People who still buy yearly releases like FIFA, CoD, NBA, NFL, etc that release barely any different from the previous iteration deserve this.
You guys are the cows, not the games themselves.

X-factor edition includes both Xbox One and Series X editions.

Separately they are $60 and $70 USD. Not a $40 premium.
