The WP65 is a decent alternative to the entry-level Dell Precision 3000 series or the HP ZBook 15v series. However, core workstation users will find a lot of missing features on the WP65 when compared to most other mobile workstations.

Lack of touchpad buttons, lack of trackpoint, lack of on-site warranty. Poor serviceability (not uncommon for MSI but uncommon for workstations)

It's hard to take MSI take on a workstation seriously. They should stick to making low quality disposable gaming laptops.
