Title: Dell XPS 13 9310 2-in-1 gets refreshed to include Intel Tiger Lake, Xe graphics, Evo, and Thunderbolt 4, but RAM and storage continue to be non-upgradeable

Dell has refreshed the XPS 13 2-in-1 with Intel Tiger Lake SKUs with Xe graphics and Thunderbolt 4 connectivity. The new 2020 XPS 13 9310 2-in-1 is also Intel Evo-certified and offers pretty much the same chassis and thermal design as its predecessor including the inability to upgrade RAM, storage, and the Killer AX1650 Wi-Fi 6 card.

As long as you can get it with 32GB RAM, i'm fine with it being soldered on. That amount will carry you for as long as until the CPU becomes obsolete.

But it's important that the SSD is swappable. That i would not accept to be soldered on.

So. I spoke with a Dell Sales Rep this morning and he swore that the RAM is upgradeable... that after I get the machine, I can call the tech support and they would help me... see the chat session in the image. Could this be? How long did Dell take the last time around before they started selling the previous 13 2-n-1 with 32GB RAM and the 2 TB SSD? Thanks, FF
