Title: Honor 8 Smartphone Review
Post by: Redaktion on September 30, 2016, 18:17:25
Blue marvel. The Honor 8 comes to us in an appealing 2.5D-glass casing and classy colors. But is a stylish casing and dual-camera enough to convince buyers in the highly competitive mid-range? We will find out in our test.

Holy hell! Love the detailed reviews you guys.

Just one thing, for cameras I'd propose a few suggestions which are almost default in most photographic review websites.

1. Have synthetic accurate and reproducible lighting conditions - indoors, with constant lighting. The 3 images aren't very different, all outdoors shots of landscapes.

2. The Canon image is at a different equivalent focal length. Most phone cameras click at ~28-32mm. The Canon image looks like it was clicked at at least 50mm eqvt.

3. The canon image seems to be RAW. (more visible in the noisy night image) Please compare oranges to oranges  and JPEGs to JPEGs.

4. Please also publish the EXIF of the compared images (F number, shutter speed, ISO etc)

5. Please focus correctly before posting, the iphone 6s plus photo in the Oneplus Three comparison is poorly out of focus.

Non camera suggestions:
1. About temperature values, please also publish ambient temperatures in case they vary across tests.

Wow, now THIS is what a review should be! Extremely detailed and written with many objective reports, you make GSMArena look amateurish in comparison. Bravo and keep up the great work!
