The GeForce RTX 3060 has arrived on the Ashes of the Singularity database, where it has outscored the RTX 2060 and the RTX 2070. The RTX 3060 appears to offer comparable performance to the RTX 2070 SUPER, despite having a US$170 lower MSRP.

The retails prices are looking to shake out around $500, so the price/performance bar isn't moving.
Maybe once supplies settle down we'll see an improvement, but it looks like the days of getting roughly 50% more performance for the same money at the mid-range of the market are long gone.
