Title: Samsung adds Thunderbolt 4 connectivity to ViewFinity S8 series with new model
Post by: Redaktion on December 02, 2022, 15:30:00
Samsung has refreshed the ViewFinity S8 series with the ViewFinity S8UT, a monitor that adds Thunderbolt 4 connectivity. Theoretically, it is now possible to daisy chain a second 4K monitor without needing a second video output. The ViewFinity S8UT comes in a single size for now, unlike the original ViewFinity S8 series.

A new model already...? I've been eyeing the 32" S8 (S80PB) for a while, but there isn't a single review out there! I don't get it. It looks like a really nice monitor.

Anyway, I'll find out next week - decided to get one anyway. Thunderbolt 4 would be nice, and a light sensor even nicer, but the changes feel pretty minor.
