Samsung has launched four new camera sensors. Dubbed as the ISOCELL GW3, ISOCELL HM2, ISOCELL JD1, and ISOCELL GM5, they come with a 0.7μm pixel size and technology such as staggered HDR, smart-ISO, and ISOCELL Plus. Except for the ISOCELL GM5, all three sensors are in mass production, so we can expect to see them in action soon.

Hopefully, we will continue to use Sony sensors in all price segments.
Sony is the only reason we're not dealing with the typical Samsung bs approach: meh camera sensor for low-end devices, mediocre camera sensor for mid-range devices, okeish sensor, good camera for Ultra Pro Premium devices.
Smaller pixels only degrade picture quality, reduce light sensitivity and increase noise!
What a BS article.
Since when does the sensor determine "optical zoom" in place of the lens? Either something's misinterpreted or something's outright wrong.
