Initial pre-orders for the OnePlus Nord went live today, the first of three pre-order events hosted by OnePlus. Fans of the company do not seem too happy about how quickly units were snapped up though, with stock levels apparently having been exhausted in under a minute. The Snapdragon 765G, 5G connectivity and a flagship-level camera for under US$500 has been confirmed too.

Sounds like the old Xiaomi trick - build 4 units in the first run, then gush about how the entire run was sold out in seconds. Rubbish.

It was gone in less than a second. Literally I clicked as soon as the counter got down to zero and instantly had the message about out of stock.. Wonder if it was a marketing BS or some IT geeks managed to get automatic orders in less than a millisecond.. >:D
