The Haylou GT1 Plus was one of the first cheap TWS earbuds to be powered by Qualcomm's QC3020 aptX HD-compatible chip. How good exactly is it, though, especially considering its meager US$25 MSRP? Pretty good, as you'll find out.

The only thing preventing me to get one is the decade old micro usb connector.

That's a con, I suppose. But it comes with a cable, so it's not that bad. I just plug it into my PS4 like twice a week.
I have the original Haylou GT1 and they are wonderful. So small, yet so powerful and with a long stamina as well.
Hmm, I would have expected that they sound better than the first Airpods.
I replaced my Airpods with a cheap Haylou after two friends and I agreed that they sound worse. Don't have the GT1 Plus, just the GT1 and GT2 here.
The Airpods sound hollow and have less bass. So, probably depends on the genre.
