Industry analyst Ming-Chi Kuo says the USB-C ports on the iPhone 15 lineup could be rated differently. The iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Ultra will get one that operates at USB 3.2/Thunderbolt 3.0 speeds, whereas the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will be restricted to USB 2.0. https://www.notebookcheck.net/iPhone-15-Ultra-and-iPhone-15-Pro-could-get-a-remarkably-faster-USB-C-port-than-the-iPhone-15-and-iPhone-15-Plus.668898.0.html
One of the biggest mistakes of the USB-IF was allowing Type-C to operate at USB 2.0 speeds 🙄 There is no reason for that to exist as USB 3.0 (5 Gbps) should be the bare minimum.
This is shameful at the end of 2023 - there must be, especially at their prices, at least a TB4.0 port at 40Gb / s and DP1.4b on 2 x 4k monitors.
And the ability to work with a smartphone without a battery and with a battery with adjustable charging thresholds, like in laptops.
use also the usb-a port so we can trash the world a bit more t.d.cooked
