Das Speicherlimit von mechanischen Festplatten wird - wieder einmal - erhöht: Dank einer neuen Technologie des japanischen Chemiekonzerns Showa Denko wird Toshiba bald imstande sein, 3,5 Zoll Festplatten mit Kapazitäten von bis zu 18 TB zu fertigen.
