The Huawei MatePad 10.4 is affordable but still has quite something to offer. An octa-core SoC, up to 64 GB of storage, 4 speakers and optional extras such as LTE support and a digital input pen make the 10.4-inch tablet a real all-rounder for multimedia, games and surfing the web. Google services are the only thing that is missing to make this package complete.

Why are all these midrange tablets so heavy? To date I still think its better to just get a Samsung Galaxy S5e.
I think they are on purpose keeping the weight up to push you towards the top end models. But in that sense its just better to buy old topend models than the midrange.
