AMD is looking to shake up the desktop GPU market with the Radeon VII, which is the first card to be manufactured on a 7 nm FinFET process. The company has also equipped the Radeon VII with 16 GB of HBM2 VRAM, but it remains to be seen whether this is enough to put NVIDIA under pressure. The textures in these cards don't do justice to a 4K display.  So you are just wasting 150w running these cards today, and probably for the next 5 years, at least.  Don't waste your money blowing up bad textures to 4K and drawing them at 60 fps when you only need 35.
