Title: Xiaomi's unofficial update policy gives short shrift to the Redmi, Redmi Note, and POCO C series

A reported update policy operated by Xiaomi in regard to MIUI and Android upgrades has shown the smartphone series favored by the Chinese OEM and which are more likely to be neglected. The unofficial list reveals that owners of Redmi (not Redmi K), Redmi Note, POCO M, and POCO C smartphones will receive the least upgrades.

In general, it seems better than what other brands are doing, so... Could be better, definitely could be worse.

Xiaomi should seriously consider renaming or reordering their lineup. It's such a mess, especially on those Redmi named phones.

On my Mi 9T I have already the 3rd Android update (2nd MIUI update) - xiaomi.eu custom ROM.

I have the redmi 9 and it's still using miui 11 the latest version no android update or miu 12 yet. Any news on this specific phone?
