Title: More Nvidia Lovelace RTX 4090, RTX 4080, and RTX 4070 specs leak, RTX 4060 also rears its head for the first time but with 4 GB lesser VRAM

More specifications for the upcoming Nvidia RTX 40 Lovelace GPUs have surfaced online including those of the RTX 4090, RTX 4080, RTX 4070, and for perhaps the first time, the RTX 4060 as well. According to the leaked specs, the RTX 4090 will offer a 53% increase in CUDA core count over the RTX 3090. The RTX 4060 will have a 30 W TGP increase over its predecessor but will apparently sport only 8 GB VRAM this time.

Hmmm RTX 4060 with 192bit bus and 8gb?

Perhaps I've misunderstood, however many other articles seem to claim that a 192 bit bus limits the options to 6gb, 12gb, or some other multiple of 6.

It's the commonly given explanation for why the 3060 has 12gb.

Someone explain please!

I believe you're correct 6 32 Gb chips would equal 6GB at 192 bit. Also why would they take a step back with the bus width? 4080 is only 256 but even worse yet the 4070 is only 192 bit. I  also thought the 104 parts were always 256 bit, so not sure why the step back.
