Title: Motorola Moto G42 smartphone review: OLED lightweight with 700 nits at a bargain price
Post by: Redaktion on July 23, 2022, 10:11:17
The Motorola Moto G42 is impossible to beat, at least from the perspective of its mid-range rivals. With its bright OLED panel, a 5,000 mAh battery, and a 50 MP camera, the 6.4-inch smartphone offers a lot of features, but it's available for just under 200 Euros (~$205).

True RGB AMOLED!

Still dislike the rotation in the subpixel matrix photos, since it sometimes leaves ambiguity as to the actual matrix orientation (makes Diamond RG/BG look like full-matrix RGB with two Gs), but this one here has the same number of reds, greens, and blues, so it seems clearer here that it's the real deal.

EDIT: Hmm, copying+rotating+selecting, the regions that each contain RGB don't seem to be properly square. Not actually sure yet what's going on in this display. Seems to be three RGB clusters horizontally, and only two verticallly over the same distance.
