Title: Acer Aspire F15 F5-573G-53V1 Notebook Review
Post by: Redaktion on June 27, 2016, 08:39:10
Inexpensive multimedia talent. In the Aspire F15, Acer combines a ULV processor with enough RAM and a dedicated GPU. These specifications appear good on paper and the price is significantly under 1000 Euros. We will reveal the weaknesses of the Acer Aspire F15 in our in-depth review.

Hey, sorry for late response but maybe you're gonna read my reply or someone else will who has a problem like you.. Anyways..

Your laptop should be fine if running up to 100C, but it is not recommended at all. The ideal temperatures be up to 80C or less of course.

There's probably something wrong with it or you have some clogged fans in there, IDK if it's new or not, but mine (brand new one) doesn't go any higher than 72C in heavy gaming (Battlefield 1 and such). Those are CPU temperatures, though I have i3 6100U. GPU doesn't go any higher than 65C (GTX 940MX) under heavy load.

I don't think that you need to setup core temp to shut down the system because your laptop will do that by itself. (I'm not 100 percent sure about that, but it should do that since my old 5732G did that and that's like 5 years older laptop).

Also, your CPU should thermal throttle itself when reaching such high temperatures so be sure to check out thermal throttling in your BIOS.
