Das LG G5 überraschte 2016 als erstes Smartphone mit einem modularen Design. Lange Zeit galt es eher als unwahrscheinlich, dass der Hersteller das von Kunden weniger gut angenommene G5 noch mit einem Update für Android Oreo ausstattet. LG bestätigte in einem Post nun aber die Update-Pläne für das G5.
