Tesla may soon use a data center located in China to process the data needed for the company's self-driving software. While Tesla currently assesses data for EVs it sells in China, this move could allow the company to transfer driver data out of China and into other regions to train AI, a first for the nation's automotive industry.

QuoteJust give us simple and reliable ICE vehicles.

ICE-only vehicles are not and should not be the future, if not for the emissions benefits then for the convenience of rarely visiting a petrol stop.

PHEVs like these Golf vehicles are a good stop-gap while we wait for better infrastructure and battery tech for the masses. At least for those who can already reliably charge at home or work.
