The MacBook Air is a well-known brand, so it makes sense for Apple to offer corresponding devices. However, both the performance and connectivity fall behind the competition, and Apple's own MacBook Pro 13 is a better alternative.

WOw...this is last years news...nothing new to right about?
I was disappointed when Apple redesigned the MacBook Air.
Sure, the new fanless low power chips perform a little better in benchmarks, thanks to Intel moving to a new process node, but they could have just slimmed the old MacBook Air down a little, keeping the overall shape, with a major upgrade to the CPU and GPU and larger screen with minimal bezels. I'm not a fan of the wedge look either. The old tear drop shape was very nice and minimalist.
Rather illustrates that your review scoring is flawed, doesn't it?
You (rightfully) don't recommend (the 13" Pro is a far better buy), yet you award 88% for the 2018 and 85% for the 2019 models!
Compare it to base model Surface Pro 7 and you could tell more.
