$179? Anbernic makes value consoles that perform great for retro gaming.

Imagine if Apple put  money on developing iPadOS instead of putting in iPad SoC that is big overkill given how limited operating system is.

Very much disagree and this article is a disservice to the GPU market which is being monopolized ! I love my A750 I play multiple games all in 2k and everything works perfectly. Even stable overclocking in the control centre to have noticeable improvements in games.the arc cards are a very interesting competitor and I'll be buying next gen.

While I'd mostly agree with your 4 suggestions, I'd like to dovetail with the possible use cases.

#1 This is a PORTABLE device and as such, run time on battery is a PRIMARY feature. While tethering to power supplies (like in a car or RV) might be possible with ALL the available handhelds, having it as a requirement to get BOTH the performance and run time is a show stopper.

#2 With a TB4 or even the addition of a Oculink port, the ability to tether at home to a eGPU (with ports for more storage, wired networking, exc.) could not only 'future proof' the device with the possible ability to get better eGPU cards but could "super charge" the devices performance (both in details and FPS) in current and future AAA games.

While opinions are rather mixed on 'playing' with dialed down details and resolution to get 'playable' frame rates are all over the map. Some would rate the performance's as 'great' and 'outstanding' while others are frustrated with games that are barely playable. Sure they run but playable - not so much.

I bought the A770 at the point when they were just cleaning up the drivers and I've been super pleased with it. For the amount of money I spent on it, it was a gamble but a great deal in the long run and it's only improving. I play on a 32" 160Mhz 1440p monitor and there's pretty much nothing I wanted to play that I haven't been able to max out and gotten acceptable playable performance out of. My only real issue with it is it's lack of VR support. Competition is good for all of us also. It forces AMD and Nvidia to rethink their pricing schemes but just like anything else you are gonna have your fanboys who will never give up their Nvidia no matter what the circumstances.

19%? That would be huge. It would mean that between 2020(Zen3/M1/Tiger Lake) and 2024(Zen5/M4/Meteor Lake):
Apple improved IPC by ~15.5%
Intel improved IPC by ~17.5%
AMD improved IPC by ~ 34%!

Hello, thank you for your review. Is the display on the 11 inch 2024 iPad a 10 bit or an 8 bit display? Thank you.

Last post by Redaktion - Today at 04:49:42
The new ThinkBook 13x G4 is a high-quality and compact 13-inch notebook with an Intel Core Ultra processor and a high-resolution 2.8K IPS panel with 120 Hz. The device is impressive in almost every respect, but the keyboard mars what is otherwise a very solid device.

News / Re: Samsung loses lead in fold...

Great news indeed. Ludicrous prices, nearly $3K in Australia for the Fold 5 and reports they want to increase prices. Hope they get smashed even harder going forward. Samsung by name, Scamsung by nature.
