I would had bought this tablet buy i am disappointed with the chinese MUI. I have a redmi pro and the chinese software is unusable if u are an english speaker. Much of the interface remains in Chinese when you choose the English language which can neither been removed and pops up from time to time.
Basically if you are not in the mood or able to flash roms on it then the software experience is very poor.
I'm sort'a angry that this review has NO mention whatsoever that this tablet has NO support for widevine level 1 DRM (only widevine level 3), so apps like Netflix or Amazon Video won't work on HD, they will only work on 480p, which on a screen that size is completely awful.
This is a complete no-no for a lot of people, yet it isn't mentioned at all :(

Thank you for this, you just saved me from a really poor purchase, 75% of the reason I wanted a tablet is Netflix or similar.
QuoteThe Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 is manufactured on 14 nm FinFET processes, which makes the chip significantly more energy efficient compared with its predecessor, the Snapdragon 625.
SD625 is also 14nm, not to mention much more efficient, especially for medium workloads, where Cortex a73 often unnecessarily kicks in.
