Fujifilm has yet to announce the Fujifilm X-T50, but the rumours and leaks are in full swing. Between the flagship sensor and processor combo, the compact size, and the reimagined control scheme, the Fujifilm X-T50 launch on May 16 is stacking up to be an exciting event for those that want an easy to use, do-it-all camera, but there are some caveats.

A small correction to this article- the article seems to imply the X-S20 doesn't use the latest X-trans 5 processor, but it does- it does use X-processor 5 which is the same as the X-H2 and X-T5. The 26MP sensor makes more sense in that model because the 26MP sensor has a faster refresh, which is better for video.

I can see how you got that. The sentence you're talking about is a bit clunkier then I'd have liked it to be, but it definitely refers to the X-S20's sensor being last-gen.

"When news first broke about the Fujifilm X-T50 coming in May, we theorised that Fujifilm might equip the cut-down flagship camera with an older processor, like it did with the Fujifilm X-S20's sensor"
