Title: Screen bend back angle in all reviews
Post by: tempo on June 18, 2011, 20:11:33
(writing this in English, from Denmark sorry)

One measurement I would very much like to see in all reviews in screen tilt/bend back angle. Simply how much you physically can open the lid / bend the screen back.

This is particular interesting for many desktop replacements / gamer laptops which have poor angle like fx Asus G73sw or the new G74sx. This means that it is hard to lay down with such a laptop in the sofa with legs at an angle, because the screen does not bend enough back, just to give an example.

* It is an objective measurement
* Its easy to make
* Its good relevant information

Thanks!

Hello Tempo,
Actually I think the Measurement of tilt is already made by the testers. Unfortunately they don't always point out the value of it...

Usually every tester takes a look at the maximum screen angles. If they are restricting, it should be noted in the review. But thanks for the feedback, perhaps we will come up with a more consistent solution in the future.
