Apple's iPhone X may have been the first to integrate the FaceID feature, but Android smartphones are set to get a refined version with Qualcomm's latest 3D facial scanning this year. While Samsung and Huawei are hard at work on their own versions, the Qualcomm one is most likely to be implemented first in Xiaomi's Mi7 smartphone, which could be launched this summer.
