Title: 100 W Core i7-8809G vs. 28 W Core i7-1165G7: Can Tiger Lake outperform the exotic Intel-AMD chipset?

Intel has come a long way since Kaby Lake. A closer look at the evolution and differences between the Hades Canyon and Phantom Canyon NUCs shows why the blue chipmaker will unlikely pursue another partnership with its red counterpart anytime soon.

That's just the heat bro ("100W"), they consume about the same.

Thanks For Information Sharing When looking at the Radeon RX Vega M GH and mobile GeForce RTX 2060, the latter offers significantly faster frame rates especially when running demanding DX12 titles at higher resolutions where performance and Other Specifications (http://other%20specifications) becomes more GPU bound.

The title is very misleading. I thought this was going to be comparing with just a Tiger Lake CPU, ie, just iGPU. If you factor the discrete RTX 2060, it's obviously not a 100W vs 28W comparison. It's more like 100W vs more than 100W comparison. The former is still going to be much slower running around the Vega GPU.

Pretty retarded title to be fair. 100W includes both CPU and GPU for Hades Canyon.

Usual clickbait from NBC and their stupid editors.

Also here to point out that the 100W vs. 28W headline is bullshit and beneath you.

The actual results aren't surprising. The GPU is a generation newer on a better process, and the CPU is 3 gens newer on a more dense node. If they'd gone with a Navi 2 GPU it would outperform this one. 🤷‍♂️

As was said, the headline is utter nonsense. Apples and oranges.

:D Where does the heat come from? Have you heard of this crazy notion called conservation of energy?

Definitely the dumbest article I've ever seen...I expected new integrated graphics vs old semi-discrete...instead we get an older lower tdp platform vs a newer higher tdp platform...are you stupid?
