The sanctions imposed by the US administration that curb Huawei's smartphone business show no signs of going anywhere any time soon. Accordingly, the OEM has reportedly come up with a new way to adapt to the situation: licensing. This would involve farming its designs - such as the signature Mate-series camera ring - out in the fully-spec'ed forms consumers might want to see.

Think if China started to boycott all US products for a year or so... Think also if we in Europe did the same thing... What a wonderful world we would have created....
