Title: HP ProBook 455R G6 Laptop Review: Better battery life thanks to Zen+
Post by: Redaktion on September 24, 2019, 19:13:22
The improved Zen+ cores of Raven Ridge APUs promise lower power consumption while also delivering slightly higher clock speeds than their predecessors. At first glance, the HP ProBook 455R G6 should also benefit from these innovations, which is reason enough for us to check how the business laptop compares against its predecessor. Read on to find out how this Ryzen 5 3500U 15.6-inch laptop performs in our tests.

Why is this model scored substantially lower than its nearly-identical Intel-based counterpart in nearly all subcategories?

Even the "gaming" score is lower. Like what?

No, it did not. The two reviews use different scoring methods, they are not comparable.

Thank you for the detailed review on display quality and for specifying the display panel name LG Philips LGD05CE. Would you please advise how specifically the display panel name can be verified for a new (unwrapped) product, for example prior to its purchase?
One idea might be searching in a manual for repair service. Or useful information for this investigation might be also your product model (7character) number which I don't see in your review.
My investigation and current market research up to now lead to potential candidates with model numbers 6MR45ES or 7DD81EA yet with unverified display panel names.
Thanks for looking up those details. Cheers!
