The announcement comes on the same day as Nvidia's official reveal of the mobile Turing Quadro RTX family of GPUs for laptops. The two Razer Studio Edition workstations will cater to professional users who may want extreme performance from a chassis that is thinner and lighter than most workstation laptops in the market today.

For gamers, will the Quadro RTX 5000 provide better graphics than the RTX 2080 Max-q?
A workstation has a pro keyboard, not this crap!
Welcome, the real MacBook Pro :) successor (17" at least).
MUX switch with 100+ Wh battery and I'm sold on the MacBook Pro 17.

No, it'll be around the same, a better bin likely offset by worse drivers for gaming compatibility.
I'm getting the white version anyway, if there's a 32GB variant and the premium of the RTX5000 over the 2080 Max-Q isn't too hard to swallow then I'm sold. I'll save on an additional GPU enclosure and a midrange Quadro and the 16GBx2 RAM I'll need to buy in addition to the regular 15.
