Big memory producers are freeing up capacity for the upcoming DDR5 modules, but some smaller companies from Taiwan will continue to produce DDR3 chips. Unfortunately, these companies cannot really meet the sudden demand of DDR3 chips and prices are expected to spike by 50%.
