Title: Lenovo launches the 15-inch IdeaPad Slim 7 GTX
Post by: Redaktion on June 19, 2020, 23:12:48
Lenovo has released more details of a new addition to the IdeaPad Slim 7 line of notebooks. This one is powered by the Core i7-10750H processor, rather than the Ryzen 7 4700U like its 14-inch counterpart. However, the OEM has included dedicated NVIDIA GeForce GTX graphics here...even if it is an older card.

That's ok.  The 16" version (1900x1200) will make use of the superior AMD cpus.

There's no 16 inch variant, and the 14 inch Renoir is strangely absent

I find it interesting as well. Since last year's model (S740-15IRH) had the GeForce GTX 1650 Max-Q 4GB GDDR5 version, lenovo probably decided as an "upgrade", the GeForce GTX 1060 4GB version would be adequate as it may be the full powered laptop version which will be faster for most games. That is if they get thermals right
