USB-3.0-Festplatten sind so günstig wie USB-2.0-Laufwerke, aber deutlich schneller. Tom's Hardware hat fünf aktuelle ,,SuperSpeed"-Laufwerke im 2,5-Zoll-Formfaktor getestet und dabei große Geschwindigkeitsunterschiede festgestellt.
